PUSTAKOPAHAR 2026

PUSTAKOPAHAR is a annual Kendriya Vidyalaya (KVS) initiative where students donate used, good-condition textbooks, storybooks, and study materials to their juniors at the end of the academic year. It promotes sustainability, saves money, and encourages a "sharing and caring" culture. 

To fulfill the objectives of this initiative, I would like to encourage all the students and teachers to actively participate and make this program a great success.

PPC Quiz Competition 2026 at KV Nuapada

On the Occasion of Parakram Diwas, PPC Quiz Competition 2026 held at KV Nuapada where 100 students of CBSE affiliated school participated.Our student Ujjwal Deep Ojha won 1st Position & Tapaswini Swain won 3rd Position in Classes VI to VIII Category and

L N Sthiti Pragyan Bag won 2nd position in Classes IX to XI Category. Congratulations to all of them.

INDIAN TALENT OLYMPIAD (ITO) 2024-25 AWARDS WINNERS

It is a Proud Moment for our vidyalaya that Our Vidyalaya received Golden School Award in Indian Talent Olympiad 2024-25. Two of our students Riyansh Dandsena and Ujjwal Deep Ojha also received the State Ranks 3 and 7 and Received cash prizes with State Topper medals. Our Principal Sh Sanjeev Kumar Sahu is also honored with Best Principal Award 2025 .Some of the students also received Excellence Awards. Congratulations to all the winners and all the Olympiad In- charges Mr Amos P, Ms Vaishnvi Sharma and Ms Jagruti Ochani.

Two-Day Awareness and Sensitization Training on POCSO and POSH

 Two-Day Awareness and Sensitization Training on POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act) and POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace Act) was organized in the school computer lab on 21st and 22nd July with Mr. Saroj Kumar Nag (PRT) as the trainer. Principal and all the staffs of the Vidyalaya attended the training. 

Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya

 

राष्ट्रीय e-पुस्तकालय (Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya) is a pioneering initiative, offering a digital library that serves as a national repository of knowledge and stories, specifically curated for children and adolescents. By providing seamless access to such online content, the aim is not only to develop a habit of reading and instill a sense of pride and curiosity among young Indians regarding their heritage and achievements but also to act as a knowledge hub for the younger generations.

This digital library facilitates availability of quality books across geographies, languages, genres and

levels, and enables device agnostic accessibility. The Digital Library consists of non-academic books for children and adolescents categorized in four age groups i.e., 3-8, 8-11, 11-14, and 14-18 years respectively.

The books cover different genres for children and adolescents like fiction, non-fiction, biographies, poetry, classics, comics, novels, etc. The repository of books in राष्ट्रीय e-पुस्तकालय (Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya) focuses on history, culture, scientific achievements, and other significant facets of India.

An App has been developed for the initiative, which currently hosts over 1000 books sourced from 46

publishers, encompassing in 23 languages, and spanning across 13 genres.

National Science Day 2025

 KV khariar celebrates National Science Day 2025 on 28th of February to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by physicist CV Raman in 1928.

On this occasion our respected Principal in his speech mentioned the importance of science in progressing the society and serving a reminder of Indian scientific heritage and the contributions of scientists in global knowledge. Also, He encouraged the students be more sincere and focused in their daily teaching learning activities.

 

LAUNCHING OF LIBRARY BLOG

Sh. Birbal Dhinwa, Hon'ble Assistant Commissioner, RO Bhubaneswar in the presence of School Principal Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Sahu and other dignitaries officially launched the KV Khariar Library Blog on 20th of November, 2024 during his visit for Annual Academic Panel Inspection 2024-25. While launching the Library Blog he extend his appreciation to Mr. Amos P. (Librarian) for developing the Blog. He also encourage the Teachers and students to fully utilize the available online resources through this platform.
